Vera Patrina is a Russian contemporary multimidia artist. Her art is driven by her belief in art as a communication tool for Initiating dialogue with oneself.
Vera’s work involves sculpture, painting, photography, film, and installation. Vera was born in Moscow and now she is an art major student at the Cornish College of the Arts. She currently lives and works in Seattle.
Vera strives to create works that give access to the unconscious and form sensory experiences. She believes that visual perception paves the way to people’s own emotions, which gives them a better understanding of themselves and thus allows them to establish communication with each other.
